課程簡介 This course includes both theory and practical application of organizational behavior in organizations. Organizational behavior is the study of how individuals and groups impact the behaviors within an organization. It is a field of systematic study that focuses on improving productivity and other areas of performance improvement. No previous study of Organizational Behavior is assumed.

二、教學大綱

Week 1 Introduction

Week 2 includes one chapter which focuses on the topic of organizational Behavior.

Week 3 Chapter 2 will introduce the foundations of Individual Behavior which focus on topics like define the key biographical characteristics, identify two types of ability, Shape the behavior of others, distinguish between the four schedules of reinforcement, clarify the role of punishment in learning, practice self-management.

Week 4 Chapter 2 will introduce the foundations of Individual Behavior which focus on topics like define the key biographical characteristics, identify two types of ability, Shape the behavior of others, distinguish between the four schedules of reinforcement, clarify the role of punishment in learning, practice self-management.

Week 5 Chapter 3 discusses the topics on Values, Attitudes, and Job Satisfaction.

Week 6 Chapter 4 contains Personality and Emotions.

Week 7 Chapter 5 presents perception and individual decision making.

Week 8 Chapter 6 describes basic motivation concepts.

Week 9 Chapter 7 discusses motivation.

Week 10 Chapter 8 foundations of group behavior.

Week 11 Miderm

Week 12 Chapter 9 discusses the topics on Understanding Work Teams.

Week 13 Chapter 10 describes the communication process.

Week 14 Chapter 11 contrasts the leadership and management.

Week 15 Chapter 12 identifies the five dimensions of trust.

Week 16 Chapter 13 contrasts leadership power.

Week 17 Chapter 14 Define conflict and Negotiation.

作業 10 % ●Read texts and other supplementary materials before class.  Prepare for class homework and discussion.  Present case analyses and submit written reports by the assigned groups.
期中考 30 % Grades are based on 3-5 problem sets for each chapter, a midterm and a final exam. The problem sets count 40%, the midterm 30% and the final exam 30% of your grade. Problem sets must be submitted by email to tony031960@yahoo.com.tw as a word attachment. Please: use your student ID as the name of your homework file so that I do not receive 10 files all called ``homework1``
