課程簡介	當今的藝術基於行為、動機或原則，明顯的於二十世紀上半葉的前衛藝術所標誌的意識形態中釋放出來。 本課程將研究當代創作的思維、策略、媒介和過程的多樣性，並分析二戰時期以來所發生的不同源起的態度和藝術混合，如何影響和改變對當代藝術的觀看方式。 另外，本課程將提供方法來了解有關當代藝術創作的不同利害關係，藉此將勾勒出主流趨勢或核心議題對當代藝術的定義，以及其中扮演具有影響力角色的機構、人物和背景。 本課程分為兩部分，一方面將主題式的描繪過去幾十年來不同的姿態與特徵對創作的定義；另一方面，將透過具體的案例研究來評論當今藝術的全景。 課程也將根據本學期期間的相關當代藝術活動，參訪當代藝術作品。並且透過具體的實例探討:「現今的藝術是什麼?」、「什麼使藝術品有價值?」、「誰決定了藝術趨勢?」等諸問題。
