課程簡介	In contrast to first language acquisition, the end state of second language acquisition is unreliable and unconvergent. It usually relies on the interaction among first language, language universal/universal linguistic patterns, and domain-general learning properties. This course serves as an introduction to investigate each of these factors that affect second language acquisition.

1.　To be able to understand the basic principles and themes in second language acquisition.		碩士: 　1-1 能以理論語言學、應用語言學角度瞭解現代漢語之語音、語法、漢字、詞彙、語用、語義等基本理論架構及其教學應用。 　1-5 能以華語文作為第二語言之教學理念，對比及詮釋文化的主要內容與核心價值。 　3-1 能進行華語文教學相關之學術研究（語言/文化/學習/教學）。 　3-4 能體會學習者學習語言的過程，給予支持並進行語言學習之策略教學。 　3-6 能瞭解並尊重多元文化的差異。
2.　be able to specify what factors affect language learning and acquisition		碩士: 　2-8 能瞭解不同國籍、不同文化的學生學習華語文的難點及特色，因材施教。 　3-1 能進行華語文教學相關之學術研究（語言/文化/學習/教學）。 　3-6 能瞭解並尊重多元文化的差異。
3.　develop a research hypothesis on a particular effect of second language acquisition, comprehension and production		碩士: 　2-1 能應用語言教學法於實際課程，進行課程設計。 　2-2 能對現代漢語語音、語法、漢字、詞彙、語用等知識的掌握及應用。 　2-3 能具有從事華語文教材教法設計之能力。 　3-1 能進行華語文教學相關之學術研究（語言/文化/學習/教學）。
