課程簡介	在多元的社會裡如台灣脈絡，人們如何在族群、性別、階級、語言、宗教、地域、特殊例外性等議題中，展現對不同群體文化其多樣性與差異的理解、尊重、欣賞與包容，並以批判反思的精神檢視各類刻板印象、偏見與歧視，付諸可能的行動實踐，從而解放自我與他人，厚實個體的核心素養，並促進教育的機會均等與公平正義，正是多元文化教育的核心要旨。 A wide range of racial, cultural, ethnic, linguistic and religious variation exists within and across societies. This course explores multicultural and diversity issues as they affect classroom and school cultures with a focus on developing sensitivity to all types of diversity for community building at local and global levels. Furthermore, multicultural education is also addressing inequities, stereotypes, and the ways they filter down to our everyday practices in local/global societies. Course participants will better understand the multicultural reality in local/global societies by building awareness of a variety of perspectives on ethnicity, gender, and social class through this course.
