課程簡介	本門課程旨在透過對青少年文化的探討，指出青少年文化研究的重心及相關問題，並試著提出青少年文化研究在教育上之意涵。到底青少年是怎樣的同儕團體？對他們的文化應如何正確的瞭解？這些青少年的文化是如何形成的？青少年文化對於教育現場的老師來說具有何種意義？這些都是探討青少年文化與教育必須關心的重要課題。 This course is designed to engage students in a critical examination of sociological and educational theory as it relates to youth culture. Class participants will investigate the role of youth culture in society, including the ways in which schools reinforce, and/or challenge prevailing peer group relationships. We will explore: 1) historical approaches and theories about youth culture, 2) class-based, racialized, and gendered experiences in youth culture, 3) student culture and peer groups, 4) fans culture, 5) internet slang culture, and 6) the study of NTNU student culture.
