課程簡介	This course provides an overview of statistical models in linguistics and hands-on programming with R. No background in statistics or prior knowledge of R is assumed. The course begins with an overview of descriptive and inferential statistics. The statistical program R will be used throughout the course. By the end of the course, students should have a thorough knowledge of many statistical models used in modern linguistics and an ability to perform statistical analyses with R.
