課程簡介	The course is designed to enable students the following background knowledge and professional skills: (1) To introduce the learners to the concept of ‘ research’; (2) To enable them to understand the stages of research; (3) To familiarize the learners to the procedures involved in research; (4) To introduce them to the conventions of research papers; (5) To familiarize them the techniques and conventions of research documentation.

1.　There are two aims of this course: (1) to conduct their own small scale research, and (2) the main aim is to get them familiarized with techniques and methods of selecting topics, developing questions, collecting and analyzing data, preparing the research paper.
