課程簡介	This course introduces the Government and Binding framework of Chomsky (1981) with some discussion of the recent development in the Minimalist Program (Chomsky 1995). The focus will be on the analysis of English. Therefore, the examples used in this course will be primarily taken from English and occasionally from Mandarin Chinese and other languages.
