課程簡介 Students learn to design and develop writing materials for teaching and learning. The design will be informed by theories, which calls for training in discourse and text analysis to render written materials for instruction. Next, students will be introduced to learning theories, in which they contemplate critical issues on effective learning to inform their design. A number of writing programs and tools will be introduced and subjected to critique based on theories and principles introduced earlier. Finally, students will examine and reflect on their design by way of peer feedback. Students will learn by active exploration through in-class and online discussion and collaboration with peers to design a tool for writing instruction.
