課程簡介	The primary goal of this course is to engage student in a critical examination of the interaction between language and gender. This course will begin with the exploration of how gender order and expectations is mediated through language while the second half of the semester will be devoted to gender-differentiated language use and its relationship with other social and cultural factors. Since gender is everywhere in our life, students are expected to observe gendered practice in their everyday interactions and to contribute to class discussions.
