一、 教學目標:
介紹高能天文物理學的主要原理,高能天文學的進展以及最近的發現,以及如何配合不同波段的觀測來研究天文現象。
二、 教材內容:
Overview of high energy astrophysics and astronomy
Physical processes in high energy astrophysics
Instruments in X-ray and gamma-ray astronomy
Radiation from compact astrophysical objects.
Gamma-ray bursts
X-ray emission from galaxies
X-ray emission from AGN
X-ray emission from ICM and IGM
The x-ray background
X-ray cosmology
三、 實施方式:
老師講授,指定論文研讀,作業練習,期末考
四、 評量方式:
Home works/Projects 50%, Presentation 10%, Exam/Term paper 30%, Reading Assignments 10%
