課程簡介 The course objective is to let students plan a health campaign. In order to achieve that, students need to identify what the target group's characteristics are, including their socioeconomics, special needs, the barrier to practice, and behaviors. In addition, they have to know the theories in health communication. Finally, they have to understand the common approaches to delivering health messages. Therefore, this course will be divided into 4 parts. The first part is to identify the topics and target group. Students have to argue why they choose the issue and the target group. The second part is theories in health communications. This may include definition, components, factors influencing communication, and health communication characteristics. Also, some health communication models and examples will be introduced in this part. The third part will introduce characteristics of information delivered by different media and the approaches to attract readers or audiences. Then, the students have to use what they have learnt to propose a health campaign for the target group.
