課程簡介	This graduate/doctoral-level foundation course is designed to offer students the knowledge necessary to familiarize and interpret key concepts, core technologies, and terminologies commonly shared within the research field of health informatics. In this seminar, students will explore issues that are fundamental to health informatics, and discuss topics with potential impact on redefining health informatics as an academic discipline, a profession, and an education ground. Students will be able to explore topics related to health information technologies, personal health data safety and security issues, and the e-health m-health revolution. While the major activities will consist of reading and class participation, invited talk, field trip to the library, group work and group presentation will also add up to ensure students a positive transition and a successful learning experience.
