課程簡介 In the era of globalization, which has been spurred by quantum leaps in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), companies have been faced with fast-paced and uncertain changes. This course will examine change in the workplace from multiple perspectives on technology, market competitiveness, and company ownership. This course is designed to train students relating to organization change and development in a competitive world. Packed with current examples that reflect the vibrancy of the international business field, this course offers a managerial approach that keeps an emphasis on organizational change management including strategy, diagnosis, motivation, resistance, communication, interventions and sustainability. Discussions will consider various foundational issues in. Throughout this course, students will engage in various activities intended to illustrate or practice the skills involved in planning and implementing organizational change. This course will be taught using a combination of instructional methods including group discussions, student presentations, and independent study. Upon completion of course, students shall be able: 1. To articulate and discuss the process of change management behind the stages of the process. 2. To gain a thorough understanding of the organization’s ability to assess its current functioning and ability to bring about major change in a way that gains support of organization members. 3. To interact with, analyze, and report on an organization that is currently managing a change process in the workplace.
