| 課程簡介 | Soft matter physics studies soft materials such as polymers, colloids, liquid crystals, and surfactants etc. The softness of these materials originates from the complex and fragile structures at the nanometer ~ micrometer scales. Therefore, the ideas of nonequilibrium and nonlinearity often play an important role in understanding the physics of these materials. The goal of this course is to expose the students to the current research topics in this field. By studying the relevant reference books and latest articles, students will not only learn the fundamental concepts but also pick up the key problems that are being tackled in soft matter physics. | ||
