課程簡介	This course is designed to provide coverage of a broad array of special education with an emphasis on a knowledge base for the understanding the historical and conceptual foundations, seminal literature, practices, issues, and trends in the field of special education. The course will focus on four units, which include (a) conceptual and theoretical framework of special education, (b) roles and responsibilities of special educators, (c) trends and innovative practices for exceptional individuals, and (d) international perspectives: special education in a global world. Through class preparation and participation, students will investigate each unit of special education in depth with the general direction of the instructor.
