課程簡介	In recent years, a lot of researches in the field of translation focus on the concept of gender in translation. The main focus of this course is on how gender itself is translated and produced in contemporary Chinese culture and language. We will first try to clarify what gender is, how gender manifest itself in grammatical and social systems of language, and what problems translators encounter when translating or producing gender-related materials. Further, we'll look on gender roles are changed and changing through various translations of terms and texts.
